It's not bad for what you pay, but it could be better. It took quite a while to put together due to somewhat vague instructions, but after trying each piece in several configurations I eventually figured out how it works and got it together. The only real problem I had with assembly was that there is a c-clip that holds goes over the center post on the outside of the black mount that keeps it in place. It's made of strip steel which was incredibly hard to get in place. I never managed to get it on, so I just left it off. It works ok without it, but would probably be better if it were installed. I also still needed to buy an extra leader hose (by the way, yes it comes with one, since I e-mailed the company to find out) because it wasn't long enough to reach my 6gal compressor on the floor when it's mounted about chest height.
Another problem I had was that I needed to put a lot of pipe tape on the 90deg fitting that it comes with to keep it from leaking (by a lot I mean probably 10-15 times around). There is still a very slow leak somewhere in the system, but since I have two leader hoses and two 50' hoses on the reel, I have no idea where the leak is, so I can't blame the reel. The leak is slow enough that it takes all night to drop 20psi when I fill the tank the night before. To fix it though I just don't leave the leader hose connected to the tank and hook it up when I need to use it.
All in all a decent reel if you're looking for cheap. If you plan to use it with any kind of regularity I'd suggest spending just a little bit more and get something better, but if you only use it maybe 1-2 times a month, it's not bad.
