Got one of these for Christmas last year and used it all year (for many hours). It's durable, solid and wicked bright. Finally had to replace the batteries after leaving it on for more than a week. Ended up buying 2 more... one for a gift and another one for me.Customer Review: China Junk

Personally, I like flashlights a lot. This one is a good flood light but it is poorly constructed from opbviously cheap materials. I had to repair mine and those of a few friends. Every one I ever say is poorly constructed. The switch is the main problem, and can easily be pushed out of the way of the button hole on the tube. If you can get it to stay put with hot glue or omse other well grabbing glue (gorilla does not work ebcuase it won't adhere to the serfaces inside) youa re doing well. Now it does light up a good sized area, and I often impressed with it and it does fit a battery clip for a "D" sized flashlight so I used it to inspet vehicles. It does work fine but has limited range. Overall it is okay but I would not buy a second one. Also, if you put Energiser lithium 8x battteries in it, it can last a good long time over a "D" cell version without a dooubt. As it is, it takes a long time as far as I can tell, to discharge even generic alkaline batteries. Well I haven't burned out a single set yet due to having to fix the switch thrice already. If it had been more solid with a good quality switch I would have rated it better. Any place you need a directional lanturn like waling a trail it is alright. I would carry backup because of the lack of reliablity though.Customer Review: Does not work!

Garbage. The whole thing is just lousy and the switch is defective so it doesn't even work at all. DOES NOT WORK! Garbage.
