I bought this shoe rack because I kept finding myself tripping over our shoes through out the day.
I must admit as I was putting this together I was doubting it holding "up" but 4 months later of use every day and coats droping on it from the coat hook it has held up very nicely not a single issue. I put it together in a whole 4 minutes. Good shoe rack I recommend it.

While the price for this thing sounded nice, this shoe rack is a big letdown. My boyfriend bought this for our room, as we are renting a room in a house and don't have much space.
It's kind of a pain to assemble. It's easy to get the bars into one side but then you have to connect them into the holes on the other side and it's not easy to get them all to go in at once.
Once it was together, by the time I carried it to where we were putting it, a couple of the bars came out and this is the constant struggle. You bump it, it falls apart. You put shoes on it, it falls apart. It's really not worth it. And now, two of the things you plug the bars into are cracking. My shoes aren't especially heavy or anything so I don't understand this. I had flats, slippers, sandals and Converses on there, mostly, so I'm not understanding why this cheap piece of crap is breaking. Grrr. I'm about to throw this thing away and get an under-the-bed storage bag thing. :/

I purchased two of these to use in a coat closet which also stores most of our shoes. We were tossing shoes in the closet on top of each other and I didn't like my husband's bulky shoes sqashing my cute little ruffle flats! They were so easy to put together - took me about 3 minutes to assemble both of them. They stay together - not like some other old shoe rack I have where if you try to move it the whole thing falls apart - these are sturdy. My husband wears a 9.5 and 4 pairs of his shoes will fit on one level - I wear a 6.5 and 5 pairs of mine fit on one level. The two racks don't quite fit in my closet side-by-side, but I angled them and they work fine - I actually like them better at an angle because I throw rain/snow boots behind them in the corners and it looks neat. When I removed the parts of the shoe rack from the box, I was not happy. This item is completely cheap. I regret this purchase. My rating was too nice.
