Tools and Hardware Reviews of 25x54 Attic Pull Down Stair Ladder Cover, R-50 InsulationCustomer Review: Attic stairs cover Summary: 4 Stars
The cover from Battic Door fit the opening very well and obviously creates separate zones of attic air and house air. It seems to work as advertised and I would recommend it to others.

22x54 Attic Stair Cover, R-50 Insulation
I ordered the Attic Stair Cover on Wednesday, received it on Friday, and installed it on Saturday. It was an easy 1/2 hour trouble-free installation. It fits perfectly and our home is already warmer. Kudos to the company for marketing this product!
Customer Review: Corning is better at half the price Summary: 2 Stars
A neighbor got this model for $100, but the Corning Pink attic door cover is better for $50. Notice some of these covers are going for $200, and of course Home Depot charges $300. Yes, attic insullation is needed, but everyone except Corning wants to overcharge for attic door covers. PTB
Customer Review: Easy installation - works well Summary: 5 Stars
The attic stair cover solves a heat loss problem very effectively. Although some may scoff at a customized cardboard box, it does work. The extra insulation, reflective cover, and foam seal complete the deal. I had it in place within about 15 minutes of receiving it.
Customer Review: Good product idea, mediocre quality Summary: 3 Stars
The product consists of a cardboard box, a sheath of reflective material and two stips of batting insulation. The box was torn & the tabs would't stay in their slots. The seller sent another box promptly - also torn. I wrote the seller, who said the box was still ok even if it was torn & didn't send another. Good product idea, mediocre quality, prompt email response but no intention to improve.
On the plus side, it was quick and easy to put together, and, albeit the box needs some reinforcement to be able to last (I will tape the torn sections and the edges of the box to make them more durable). If the quality were better, I'd recommend purchasing it since the functionality you get for the time and money invested is a decent trade off.
