Tools and Hardware Reviews of 2x4basics 14429 Workbench and Shelving Storage System with Hooks and Clamps

Customer Review: Excellent Quality and Easy to Customize
Summary: 5 Stars

I was in the market for a workbench and was looking for something that is the correct dimensions to fit into the space I was desigining, is very solid, and has shelving for storage. This is the perfect product to satisfy these needs.

Since you supply the lumber, you can create any dimension workbench that you desire. Mine is 7' x 30" and fits perfectly into my workshop. It took me about two hours to assemble from opening the box to the final screw. The bench is extremely solid and easily holds the weight of all the bench tools and wood stock I store on it. There is no wobble whatsoever. The shelving is perfect for storing 2x4 stock, plywood boards, and some hand tools.

The 6 shelf links included are excellent for building a hutch to store parts drawers and other accessories. The kit also comes with some resin hooks for hanging tools, etc.

I think this is a great product for a great price.

Customer Review: Excellent Workbench
Summary: 5 Stars

I built a reloading bench with the Finley Product materials and I am NOT handy. With help from my wife, I was able to assemble the bench with no problem. The only thing is, they only have pictures for instructions. It would help to have directions, too.

Customer Review: Excellent Workbench System
Summary: 5 Stars

I just built my work bench yesterday and was impressed with the kit. I built my bench 3'x6' and built a hutch style single shelf 24 inches high in the rear. I added peg board to the shelf, a heavy duty power strip, and also a flourescent light. Below my hardwood work surface I used OSB to save alittle cash for the bottom two shelves. In total I spent around $150 on lumber and the other additional items I added. Some of the reviewers have stated they were having issues with stability when using the included hardware, but I didn't have any issues. My bench is extremely solid as is. I drilled pilot holes and then used an impact driver to drive the screws and my bench is rock solid.

Customer Review: Excellent value for a workbench
Summary: 5 Stars

An excellent, solid workbench setup. This will take the headache out of making a workbench. Supply your own wood (it doesn't have to be great), and you are ready to go. You just need a decent circular saw and a power screwdriver. Everything else is in the box. Go with 10 2x4's and 2 sheets of 3/4 " plywood. A good value for the money.

Customer Review: Excellent workbench for garage.
Summary: 5 Stars

I built a 6x2 workbench for my garage in just a few hours. I highly recommend the workbench kit for anyone who would like to build a customized workbench for their garage or shop.
