I bought the 2x4 workbench and shelf combination and built a copy of bench I saw done by a previous customer. Like others who noted the same, it is relatively easy to build although the directions are pictures and no helpful words. The kit does not come with a "cut list" which is a needless oversight. You can find one on the Finley website under customer input but it should be a part of the assembly materials.All in all a good experience and I would recommend. Would also suggest thinking about how to finish the wood you select in advance of assembly and some suggestions on options of various types of wood would be helpful as well.Customer Review: Good product

I purchased 2 sets of shelflinks a month ago and found that building the shelves was very easy. The workbench was also very easy to build. I decided to make mine 3'x 6' but I could have made it up to 4' x 8' if I has the room.
The shelves below the worktable include a lot of storage. My only real complaint is that the vise attachments are kind of cheap. The kit also includes a set of shelflinks, I used them for more storage. I redid my garage with these products and it looks and functions very well. Total cost for my garage renovation was $120 for the workbench and all the shelves and $150 for wood.

Item provided with drywall screws; place them aside for a drywall job. Used 3" deck screws. Bench is 10' long so I supported the top shelf with 2x6 runners, bottom two shelves work fine with 2x4 runners. Each shelf decked with five 2x6's instead of plywood/particleboard. Makes bench mounted vise and grinder very stable.Customer Review: Great Buy

This kit was well worth the money. I needed a kit that would let me choose the size of bench to make(65"24").Easy to understand instructions.A few of the earlier reviews were very helpful. Buy larger screws. Home Depot made all the wood cuts I needed.Total cost of lumber $82.00. I used 3/4" Mdf sheets for my 2 shelves and a nice finished grade plywood for the top.It took about 2 hours to build the bench(I will add additional shelves another day). I'm just average at building skills.The product website has a bunch of pictures of benches built by other buyers.That was great info.You can't go wrong with this kit.Customer Review: Great DIY product

I needed a workbench for my workshop and discovered this product. It is perfectly designed for making a workbench of any dimensions necessary rather than other products which are made for a specifc size. The instructions are poorly written and a bit confusing to follow but studying them carefully before beginning should allow anyone to use them. Everything is included, including the screws for assembly, right out of the box. I managed to build it in one afternoon by myself, requiring assistance at only one point when I had to lift the assembly from its side on to its feet. The end product is extremely sturdy, provide plenty of shelf storage, and makes a great work surface. This is definitely one of the best products I have bought.
