I recently cut the wall on my closet and replaced a single door with two doors. I needed a good tie rack to hold my 80+ ties. Not being able to find one I purchased 5 sets of the 30 tie organizer. The hooks which hold the ties are at least 3 times thicker than what you see on the ties in the store display. Very sturdy. Since I needed longer than the 14 inch length, I purchased at Lowes two 20 inch towel racks in the bath department, which happened to be the same diamiter as the 14 inch rods. BTW the crome supply line for toilets are the same diamiter also. I painted the towel racks a creame color to match the doors and attached to the inside of each door. Each of the 20 inch rods now hold 45 ties easily. I think the enclosed racks are cheap looking, but the holders are very high quality. I'm very pleased with my solution. I purchased 5 sets for extra hooks, since these are not available separtly.
