I have wasted money on all these other tie organizers from electric rotating to hanging tie racks. This tie organizer was not only reasonably priced but also perfect for 200 plus ties that I needed desperately to get organized. The mounting is so simple. It was great. I purchased 5 at one time and I still need more! I will order more. I show everyone who visits my husband's nice and organized ties. This was mounted easily behind a door with 4 screws, great little product. I now have a system where I put the tie I just took off on the end of the rack each day so I don't have to remember what tie I wore this week. I've tried many different tie racks.
They all sucked in one way or another.
This rack installs easy (4 screws, included)and comes with plastic clips (30 of them) from which you hang the tie and clip on to the rack itself.
The rack itself is very sturdy and is a good size.
I installed it on a wall next to a mirror, but my other choice would have been on the inside part of the closet door. (the length and low profile would make it a good fit)
As for the plastic clips themselves, they are also good quality plastic. Thick and sturdy, I can't imagine ever breaking these. (Unless if I had a crazy fit while getting ready for work and started biting on them in frustration or something of that nature... even then I don't think they'll break... my teeth would just hurt... plunging me even deeper into frustration of the working man)
Also the fact that you can remove the clips without taking the tie out is great.
It's nice to be able see how the tie would match with shirt and etc. just by taking the clip off the rack (with tie still on it) and putting it by my neck to see.
(Also putting back said tie and repeating the process a few times (up to 30 as the rack allows) even though at that point I'm likely running late)
The only problem I find is that I don't always put the tie back on the rack. But that's not the rack's problem. I'm just lazy. (any rack would give me the same result)
Anyway, great rack. (haha)
You cannot do better than this tie rack.
