I searched the internet for a tie hanger for my boyfriend. I bought this based on prior reviews, and it was an amazing hit. It has a very small footprint, so you can hang it anywhere you have some wall or door space. the hangers are flexible plastic, so they easily go onto the rod, and it's easy to put the ties on. It lets the ties hang nicely so they aren't wrinkled, and it really lets you see your selection of ties - it makes matching up your outfits really simple. Although my boyfriend had never seen these tie racks before, it was exactly what he wanted and he is very happy with them. Does this item really need another review? How many good things can people say about a tie organizer? I liked it enought that I wanted to add my voice to the positives even though it might be un-needed. This item is easy to put up and FAR better than any of the tie racks I have used in the past, as it allows you to easily see all your ties without any trouble. Also the hooks keep your ties neat, and they won't slip off randomly as can happen with other tie racks. I've already ordered a second one if that is any indication of what I think of this little, simple, and low cost product. Don't bother looking at anything else - non-motorized, motorized, "hanger-based", etc. Just order this unit for yourself, friends, neighbors, relatives . . . no one will be unhappy. And, if you have really heavy ties left over from some prior century, you can replace the screws that came with the unit with longer ones that can go into your wall studs (assuming they are the normal 16 inches apart) since the smart people that designed the unit, spaced the attachments at the same distance. I bought one of these a few months ago and found it to be inexpensive and good quality. I mounts easily by four screws to any flat vertical surface. I mounted mine to the inside of my closet door. The rack comes with thirty black tie hangers that slip easily on and off the chrome rod. It makes it easy to take several ties to check the match with your clothing and put back the unused ones still on the hangers. I liked it so much that I purchased a second holder. It is simple, easy, convenient and inexpensive. Worth five stars
