Got this at a nice price on Deal-Of-The-Day. Nice reception, I already had an older pair that works great with the analog tuner, but that grew to be a bit of a pain if you are adjusting the volume with gloves on and accidentally lose your station-plus changing stations is a pain with no presets. This model improves on that with the digital tuner and it works very well, I use them for snowblowing, power tools, just about anything where there's an engine or loud motor running. The older pair has been very durable, especially the antenna which I have bent many times with a hat or goggles and it is still in place and functions well. This one stores presets so it is much easier to change between your favorite stations.Customer Review: As bad as it gets

I refused to believe the reviews. This is Peltor right? People that complain must be in lousy reception areas, right? I have a number of Peltor products including the first dial tuner Worktunes, which work great. But I wanted digital tuning to make it easier to change the stations.
These are absolutely awful. The construction is a step down from the original Worktunes and the sound is horrible. I live within 10 miles of the stations I listen to and both the FM and AM were fuzzy and weak. They tuned in but had so much white noise it was unenjoyable.
Some products should be removed from the shelves. This is one of them.

I got three sets for my firewood company a few weeks ago. Everybody loves them! The digital tuning seems like an essential feature, no fiddling with the tuning to find different stations. We work outside in a rural area and reception comes in pretty good on most stations - AM is sketchy. Overall I really recommend this headset if you are doing anything that requires hearing protection for a length of time. You won't know how you lived without them!Customer Review: Awesome headphones

I work parttime at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, NH mowing rough since my retirement from teaching for 30+ years. These headphones drown out the noise of the mower while allowing me to hear my Ipod play my 580 songs. The digital radio comes in great also if my battery gets low on my Ipod. I would highly recomend these wherever there is a noisy environment in order to protect your hearing. On top of the great product the price was also better than at any other outlet. I bought the original and this new model is much improved. The on/off switch and the tuning along with the option to preset stations.
