Tried this headset and found that 1) it was basically uncomfortable, heavy on the ears and 2) the AM reception was awful. FM stations were OK as was the noise insulation but I wanted to listen to AM as well and this headset can't do that. So.... back it went.Customer Review: Battery Hog

The WorkTunes headset works well in my rural area (45 mins outside of Charlotte). Most FM stations come in and stay consistant during my 3 hrs of mowing (only time I wear headset). AM is no good in my area with this headset so don't buy if you must have AM.

I live in a rural area and reception for my favorite FM radio station is a little weak. I have only one radio (Bose) that gives good reception.Just purchased the Peltor Headphones. I have owned an analog and now the digital WorkTunes hearing protector and might I say the digital ones are awesome. Its so easy now to find your favorite station. They are excellent at canceling the outside noise. Anyone who drives equipment, thats noisy, and would like to hear the radio or plug in your ipod, will be truly pleased.
