My rental home has a beautiful master bath with a marble tiled shower... and no shelves, corners, or soap dishes. I put this soap dish and matching caddy up seven months ago and they still look great. I have had no issues with rust yet, but I will say that the shower is very large and I positioned the dish and caddy away from the direct shower spray; originally to avoid mildew on my shower things and prevent washing away the soap when not in use. I am very disappointed that 3M has discontinued this product and I only hope it is because they are working on a better version. White plastic accessories would be unattractive in this shower.
