I bought 3 of these for my wife when she walks around the neighborhood, and for me when I ride my bike. We both need it to fend off dogs, and this does an excellent job making the dogs go away. I have used this on dogs many many times, and my wife has used it 2-3 times. Not once did the dog return after we used this on them. It's very powerful and effective. Buy this product! I know I will again!
Description of 4oz 17% Streetwise Pepper Spray
Pepper spray enables you to defend yourself while keeping a safe distance from an attacker. A one second burst to the face will cause temporary blindness and choking and coughing and nausea-bringing the attacker to his knees. The active ingredient in our spray is Oleoresin Capsicum (O.C.)commonly referred to as red pepper. When considering which pepper spray is most effective one must consider the percentage of pepper being used and the heat rating of that pepper (measured in Scoville Heat Units or S.H.U.).
