Very satisfied with transaction and product quality. Make sure to read the other install comments, as there were very helpful. Install process: On the right side you will see the word IN stamped into the plastic. Supply water line goes to IN. I have a 3/4" copper water line in my house. Down the road I plan to install a copper tee, but for now I have the water system connected to a piercing valve. ($5) The brass valve has a ¼ compression fitting discharge, so all I had to do was connect a plastic ¼" hose to the brass piercing valve , the other end of the ¼" plastic hose goes to IN. One thing I learned was to use plastic compression rings when connecting plastic hose to a brass fitting. (Copper for copper and plastic for plastic). When I tried to use the supplied copper compression ring on a plastic hose, the ring went in sideways when tightening, and the connection leaked. Replaced the copper ring with a plastic ring and the leak was no longer. The next thing, find the clear line with the green restrictor in the end, that is the waste line that MUST go to a drain. Each time the system needs more water, the waste line will be flushing water out the waste line. Find the expansion tank connection, I believe it's on the right side close to the IN connection. Connect a ¼ plastic hose, at this point you need to decide if you want to flush the system before you connect the tank. I recommend flushing, so.. turn the water on. The first gush of water will be black, from carbon. I choose this route so the carbon would not get into my tank. After the water ran for a few minutes I turned the water off and then connected the tank. (install supplied plastic tank valve and connect 1/4 hose). Lastly we need to hook up the clean water line located on left side of finish filter. Hook up the last piece of ¼" plastic and connect to the other end to the faucet. (you will need to purchase a longer length clean water line to connect to your sink or fridge. (16 cents a foot at Lowes) Turn the water on and let it run. CHECK FOR LEAKS.
