Customer Review: Excellent outdoor water fountain for the kids!

I'd had enough of my kids running in the house all summer long, using up all of the cups to get a drink and leaving them all of the kitchen. But could not afford a commercial outdoor unit for $500+installation. This item solved my problems like a charm. As a note, this bubbler is commercial quality, heavy duty, and built to last, indoors or outdoors.
Once the item arrived, I went to Lowes and purchased the following for around $17 and it took me 15 minutes to put together:
1. female hose connector to 1/2" male connector adapter
2. 20" flexible faucet hose with 1/2" female connectors on each end.
3. 1/2" PVC sprinkler riser with threaded ends (18" long)
4. 5 foot length of 1 inch PVC pipe
5. 1.5" hose clamps (qty: 2)
6. Teflon plumbing tape
Use the Teflon tape whenever connecting pieces to prevent leaks. Connect the adapter in step 1 to a water spigot that comes out of your house. (If you want to keep the hose connected, purchase a "Y" adapter that allows you to connect both.) Connect the faucet hose in step 2 to the adapter, and the other end to the 1/2" PVC riser. Screw the bubbler onto the other end of the PVC riser (do not over tighten and strip the threads off the PVC). Drive the PVC pipe in step 4 12 inches or so into the ground. Using the 2 hose clamps from item 5, connect the bubbler to PVC pipe by wrapping the hose clamps around the PVC riser and the 1" PVC pipe, adjusting height accordingly.
Once done, turn on the water spigot from the house, then twist the bubble handle to open up and flush out the line. Do this for several minutes so the taste of hose is flushed out. After the line is all flushed out, adjust the spigot handle so that when the bubbler handle is turned, a nice, drinkable flow of water appears. If your neighborhood is like mine, all of the kids will begin to use it in lieu of running to their house. I ended up buying a 5 gallon bucket and putting it in front of the new fountain because the grass was getting muddy. Every other day, I empty the bucket.
