I have 3 of these and they work great. This pack with dispenser and 3 refills is a great deal.
I recommend always getting the dispenser with the quick-spray button, sometimes you need an instant freshening boost (litter box, bathroom). I bought a Lysol dispenser that doesn't have that, it's going back to Target.
Target, btw, has AirWick refills at a pretty good price.
I also bought a smaller AirWick dispenser at an outlet store, very cheap, but it uses the tiny little 0.8 oz bottles, which cost nearly the same as these big 6.17 oz cans. So don't make that mistake! Check the cost of consumables, that's where they get you (like inkjet printer ink).

I had the experience to live in a very tiny apartment issued to us by the military. We have two cats and every once in awhile as the kitty left the litterbox we would smell an unpleasant odor throughout the tiny downstairs. I bought three of the automatic air freshener machines and set them up downstairs and it helped SO MUCH! So I can say it helped in a small area.Customer Review: good product

I was first introduced to this product when I went to visit my Mother. She has one in her living room and it was really a plesent smell when I walked in. So I purchased one for my living room, but I found that it didn't work so well. The size of the room is a major factor. My living room is much larger and has a high ceiling. My daughter was wanting one, so I just moved it into her room. My husband and I had been talking about how her room was begining to smell like a locker room. It works great in her room, I have had to turn it on the lower setting, the high setting was too overwelming. Her room is about 12' x 12', so it works great for a room that size. She really enjoys the 'Fresh Waters' fragence. I placed the Air Wick-Freshmatic on a tall shelf in the her room. It will spritz every few minutes, so if it is on a desk or at eye level it could spray you in the face. Overall, this product is an affective way of keeping a room smelling fresh, and at a price that isn't too bad.Customer Review: not good

I bought 2. Use one in the bathroom and one in a room that is seldom used and had a musty odor. The product works fine. I just wish the refills are cheaper but they can last up to 2 months so I guess they aren't that bad if you can find a deal on the refills which I did on ebay. Actually I ordered 6 refills and got a free freshmatic ultra which was a pleasant surprise.
