We bought these for our 11 month old son to use at Talladega for the Nascar race in April. They worked great! We were really close to the track so we were still concerened that he would still be able to hear the noise with as loud as it is when the cars go by, but no problem. I bought these to save my 4 and a half year old's ears at a Jonas Brothers concert.
She was still slightly stunned when the screaming wound up; but she managed to hear the music and sing along for the whole show...less unencumbered by the deafening sound than any of the rest of us.
It was great - protect your kids' ears at these shows!!!

I mis rated these and gave them one star after being unable to figure out how to extend the strap - in fact I was about to sell them as soon as I opened the box and tried them for the first time. I thought they were too tight but they do fit on my head after adjusting them. They are light and comfy but create a light vacuum that might feel uncomfortable. That might be the case with all ear muffs who do a good job isolating external noise.
These are by no means for kids only nor are they only for women. They say they are but they're not embarrassing to wear whatsoever.
