Purchased this based on the reviews and the price, and so far, we're very happy with it. For under $10 (actually under $9 when we bought it), I wish that I would have bought a couple of them. This product delivered as promised. Used it on some good knives that
just wouldn't hold an edge anymore and after several passes the
blades did the "paper test" like butter.

I've only had this sharpener a short while but I'm very pleased. My knife edges were easily restored and I only need a few swipes on a steel to prep them for cutting. It was obvious that the edges of my knives were beyond simple prep. When I made a few passes with the Accusharp I could see small curls and chips actually being removed...indicating that the blade was being renewed and re-aligned.Customer Review: Works great.
