We've been trying to replace an old (reliable) but now broken acrylic paper towel holder. This one is worthless. First, there is no tension so when you grab a towel, you will have to hold the roll with the other hand or you will get way more than one towel. And second, depending on how you touch/hold the roll, the spindle easily knocks off the holder. It became a running joke at our house. Don't waste your time with this.
