I thought something was wrong with trigger mechanism as it seemed that the sear would not engage when cocking the rifle. I tore the rifle down and discovered that it had apparently been dry fired. Now if you know anything about air rifles, you know that you cannot dry fire a spring gun without catastrophic failure. The piston seal screw was bent and the tack welds that held the steel plug to the end of the piston had broken, so the piston was now just a sleeve sliding back and forth along the main spring. I contacted seller and let them know what happened so hopefully they will pass the word to their employees who I suspect probably dry fired the gun. I did not request replacement, as the cost of the gun is probably less that what it would cost to ship the ting back and forth. I am an old machinist and was going to go through the gun completely anyway ( a good idea with chinese stuff ) to deburr and polish holes, surfaces, piston, compression chamber and spring chamber. I was able to repair the piston with silver solder and as soon as I find a piston seal screw, I will be able to re-assemble the rifle and it will be operational. Seller was quick to respond to me and very sympathetic to my situation. I will add to my review when it is operational and I have had a chance to fire it. These are cheap rifles and are roughly constructed, but if you are willing to spend a little time and effort to deburr and polish everything that they neglect... you can have a nice air rifle that is easy on your pocket book.Customer Review: BUY

Really! This gun is absolutely awesome! It is very powerful, and accurate as well. For $20 you would think that this is a piece of crap, but when i got this thing i was pleasantly surprised. From around 20 yards away, i was able to shoot an unopened can of soda-it went straight through the can, blowing it up in the process, and went into the plank of wood behind the can. If you own bb guns and have never tried a pellet gun. This gun is the way to go. I went through a whole bunch of bb guns, but they all look, feel, and preform like crap next to this thing.Customer Review: Best Quality Bargain Rifle Available

Im afraid I have to admit that I purchased this rifle to thin out the herd, so to speak, of the various night visitors and pesky varmints that insist on infiltrating my backyard safe zone for birds. And not only that, but were reeking havoc and causing damage to my property while attempting to partake of the continuous buffet offered that their various names did appear on the guest list for. All my other attempts to keep them at bay and eliminate them by suggestions and folk remedies amounted to not even a fraction of any real success. My last resort unfortunately was to buy a pellet rifle with sufficient power of persuasion to cancel their reservations permanently. A primary look at such rifles available on the web at first convinced me that my investment of one was to going to be far more costly than its given intent was worth. That is until I arrived at Amazon and came across this baby. During my research I visited several sport centers where I had a chance to stare down and hold quite a few rifles much more expensive. So it was when I took a chance on this one I was not exactly a babe in the woods as to handling one. As the other reviewers here have testified too correctly, this rifle does not in any way feel light or cheap. It is solidly built and has the feel of quality that in my opinion sets it well beyond the $25 price tag. It is by far the most quality attributed weapon of its kind for the price that I have personally held, or come across anywhere. Its power and accuracy is enough to satisfy any of those that desire a weapon both economical, and at the same time deadly enough for whatever various pest control you may have in mind. The single shot option at first did not set well with me. But upon receiving and plinking with this gun, it's obvious that its quality is that of the average user really needing only one shot at a time to solve his or her problem. In other words, take a good enough aim the first time around at whatever your shooting at, (along with using good quality hollow point or similar pellets) and you won't have any use for bothering to reload. In conclusion, if what you're looking for is a good solid pellet rifle for whatever reason you have need of one, this one from Amazon is far beyond any kind of bargain you will find anywhere for the power and quality you receive. And I highly recommend it. For $25 its a downright steal...
