Tools and Hardware Reviews of Air Pellet RifleCustomer Review: SINGLE SHOT PELLET RIFLE Summary: 5 StarsGREAT GUN FOR THE COST, NEEDS A GOOD SCOPE TO GO WITH IT. VERY POWERFUL & HARD HITTING. ONLY GUESSING BUT THE FPS MUST BE OVER 700.
Customer Review: Very substantial Summary: 4 StarsThis is a surprisingly solid article for the price. I cannot comment on whether or not it functions well as an air rifle since I purchased it as the base for a costume prop. But for that, it worked excellently.
Customer Review: low price, good enough for me Summary: 4 StarsI just ( 10/25/07) purchased one of these air guns. It was delivered very quickly (4 days) and in good condition. I have fired it only a few times straight out of the box, and am satisfied with the purchase. For ~$32.00 with shipping it seems like a good deal. If you are near a Cummins store and can get it with out paying shipping that would be an outstanding deal. This is an adult sized and hefty air rifle. It may best used as introduction (for an adult) to air guns before going out and buying a more expensive gun. Some cleaning to remove the rust preventive coating may be advised.
There is an astounding amount of information about this particular gun on the web, both on how to operate it and simple upgrades. Just search for B3 pellet gun or Cummins B3 also Industry B3 and you find much useful information. Taking the time to do that search will really help in deciding if this is a good fit for you.
As noted in another review care must be taken when loading because if the trigger gets bumped and you are not firmly holding the cocking lever you could loose a finger if loading a pellet. Do not let the low price fool you, this is a fairly powerful gun and is not a toy. This should be purchased for adult use or adult supervised use as if it was a fire arm.
I am not a air gun expert, that last air rifle I bought was over twenty years ago (a Daisy Power line 880 , which I still have).
Customer Review: Kicks and Hits like a mule!!! Summary: 4 StarsExtremely powerful rifle. Much more than I expected. It kicks when you pull the trigger and delivers a pellet with incredible velocity. It takes a lot of getting used to as it is a solid and heavy rifle which isn't easy to keep steady. With the weight and the kick it takes a lot of practice, muscle, and effort to keep it accurate. It tends to shoot high of the target as when the trigger is pulled it creates incredible inertia. Easy to use but must be handled with care and safety---it is NOT a toy!!!
Customer Review: Great gun just a little dangerous!!! Summary: 4 StarsI got this gun 4 dyas ago! Ever since I got it I didn't know how to load it.
Later I found out (with my friend's help) that you have to push the levr all the way back, and put the bullet in throw the hole located under the sliver sheet of metal. once I knew how to shoot it I shot lots of stuff. The first thing I shot was a can of tomatoe paste, and it wetn right throw the can and then hitt a can of soda going right throw! I mean in one side and out the other, it was crazy. After my dad saw what the gun did to the can he said he wanted to watch me when I shot the gun. This is the most powerful, cheapest, best gun I ever got. I really recomned this gun
