Great clamp, but do not use it with a router. This is a great clamp for doing quick and dirty cuts, but do not expect your cut to be perfectly straight as it can flex if you apply pressure against it. It is perfectly fine for most circular saw cuts as long as you don't press to firmly against it, but a router adds way to much pressure and you won't end up with a straight cut. Get the wider model if you need it for routing or extremely straight circular saw cuts.Customer Review: Great product!

grip clamp works very well needs more instructions on how to work. it's very good for cutting plywood sheets, and a router guide or use as a straight edge.Customer Review: I like the Tru-Grip stuff a bit better

Decent design, but it doesn't always clamp very straight. Therefore, you end up with a less that squarecut. I wouldn't use this for cutting down the length of a door if you're going for square. I bought this a while ago and just had a chance to REALLY use it. I don't have the part that connects to the saw I was just using the guide itself. I happy i didn't buy any other parts. This tool is just ok. It is a little cumbersome to use because the clamping mechanism is a little hokey. It doesn't always grab on the holding end. If it gets a little loose the clamping part doesn't clamp enough to take out the slack and get a good grip. I ripped about 15 sheets of plywood and now I'm out here again looking for a better solution. This tool is not terrible but i think it could work a little easier.
