I'm buying my first car and figured that I will need a tool kit. This has to be the best bang for the buck. Looks like it has everything for moderate engine tuneup job. A torque wrench would be nice though. Overall this is a good toolkit to have in your car should the unexpected happen. Besides you can never go wrong with having a toolkit in your car anyway.

You can't go wrong with this tool set--the folks at Allied have collected everything you'll need for automotive emergencies, routine maintenance, and repairs and packed it into this tough-sided carrying case that opens out and lies flat for super access to everything. The tools are made of dropforged carbon steel for durability and come in both metric and standard sizes. There'll be no complaints with this collection: a 41-piece socket set, 27-piece wrench set, 23-piece screwdriver bit set, and a 34-piece electrical set. A utility knife, wire brush, tire gauge, and 8-foot, 100-amp jumper cable round out the set. The box is compact enough to keep in your vehicle all the time.
