Customer Review: A Clock With All The Features You Could Want

This alarm clock is working out really well! I have had it for a little while now and am finding the bells and whistles to be really handy. I occasionally use the nap timer and therefore don't have to mess up my daily alarm settings, I use the skip timer when I wake up earlier than the alarm so as not to wake my significant other, I use the multiple settings to not just wake me up, but to remind me to do daily tasks, etc, etc. So all in all, I'm very pleased with it!Customer Review: A college must have!

If you are in college this is the alarm clock you've been waiting for. I have classes at different times on different days and that's what it's all about. I never have to worry if I set the wrong time again because I don't have to keep setting the alarm before going to bed and how wonderful is that if you've been up too late? I set my schedule once at the beginning of each semester and that's it! I'm as the product name states Never Late!
Awsome product, great features, great sound the only thing that I could fault about this clock radio is that the instruction sheet is a bit sparse but fortunately, it's very easy to figure the thing out without good instructions.

This is the alarm clock I had been waiting for! It allows two alarms to be set for every day of the week, and up to seven alarms that will go off every day. As someone who likes to sleep in as dark of an environment as possible, the ability to set the backlight to be completely off is a very nice feature (you can still see the time in the middle of the night by hitting snooze, which turns the display on for 10 seconds).
The one serious flaw of this clock is that it locks up if you hold the on/off button down for too long when an alarm has gone off. This isn't hard to do considering how sometimes I fumble for the button in a groggy stupor. Resetting the clock is a pain--you have to unplug it, remove the battery, then reset ALL of your alarms. The clock has a USB port--too bad it doesn't allow a firmware update to fix bugs.
Overall, though, I only lock the clock up once every two months or so, so it's a bug I can live with to get such a good clock.
Suggestions for future improvements:
* Allow firmware updates via the USB port
* Offer the clock in more than one color

This clock is billed as "innovative" and "executive" and is neither. It is fairly (and unnecessarily) complicated to set-up with too many difficult-to-interpret instructions for a myriad of personalization settings.
The display has a dark-ish blue LCD background with white numbers and is hard to read unless your fairly close up. The backlight can be adjusted, but it's just not a "clean read."
When I shut the alarm "off" on the first use, it silenced, and five minutes later the radio turned on and blared - a feature I definitely did NOT set and could not find an answer for the reason. In addition, an alarm I thought I had cleared (and the instructions are NOT clear about this) went off after I was asleep. I could not find where the setting might be.
The pads used to set features are NOT backlit, but are impressed on grey rubber keypads. You will have to have bright light to see the words on them and set them. They are all dual use pads (two instructions/uses per pad) and you'd better have small fingers, too.
Lastly, the "battery backup" is extremely misleading. If the power is lost, it retains the settings, but does NOT DISPLAY - so if power is lost, your clock simply does not work. (We lose power fairly often where I live, so this is useless.) Lastly, it is an ugly white - only option available.
I purchased this clock to replace a dual alarm with AM/FM radio and headset jack, battery backup and small footprint - all necessary features for my needs. The clock I am replacing has unfortunately died and after 10 years and must be replaced. It is ALL of the things this is not, but is no longer available. Stay away from this clock unless you are a gadget fiend and want to waste your precious time messing around with it!

I have a variable schedule and and have been looking for years for an alarm clock with all these features and conveniences.
I am very, very happy with this clock! Got it for xmas '08 and have been using it since. I think, for the price, the build quality is excellent, and the functionality truly out of this world!

Good sounding radio. I feed audio in on the aux input and it sounds fine.
The layout of the controls and the personalization of the unit is very straightforward once you have gone through the quick setup sheet.
I would highly recommend this product, and look forward to seeing other products coming out of this company.
