This is such a good product ... it's so good that my 3 yr old daughter who was previoulsy waking up at 5.30 now doesn't wake us up until 6.30pm !! it's ingenious we bought one for each of our children and they both understand unless the light is green it's not time to get up and my 6 year old is starting to understand the correlation between the digital time the clock !!!
Whilst it's not cheap it's worth every single penny for the extra hour !! and also for them to learn some responsibility ..

This is the best clock ever! While it is not the most attractive clock, it keeps our 2 1/2 year old in bed--every morning he comes running in yelling that it "turned green!" We actually get to sleep until 6:30 now. Love it, love it. If you have issues with toddlers getting up early, this is the clock for you. It is apparently also great for teaching kids, we're just not there yet. Most of my friends swear by this clock.Customer Review: Brilliant concept, defective product

This clock's concept is excellent. We set it so that the light turns green at 7am, so our child has a visual cue to know when it's okay to get out of bed in the morning (instead of the middle of the night). It worked beautifully for about 60 days. Now it is defective. In the middle of the night it will start saying "the alarm is on! the alarm is off!" or the alarm bell will start ringing randomly. We tried replacing the batteries, plugging and unplugging it, etc. Nothing helped. Unfortunately we bought it elsewhere and could only return it for store credit since it was 60+ days past purchase. This was very frustrating. I might buy another one from Amazon and hope that the first one was defective, because the concept it so good.Customer Review: Brilliant!

We've owned this clock for about a year for my 4 year old daughter. Now I've purchased another one for my 3 year old son. I like that it works as a nightlight as well as a clock; that it has the digital time and the traditional clock face; and also that it announces the time with the push of a button. But what I really love about this clock is that you can set the nightlight to turn from yellow to green whenever you want. Both my VERY early risers completely understand that they need to wait to wake mommy until the light turns green! WOW! I can now sleep until 6:30 am. WOO HOO!!! While it is true that you can set the green light to turn on when it is Ok to wake up, there seems to be no way to do this both for morning wake up and naps. This means I have to reset it every time my toddler has a nap and every time she goes to bed at night. Not worth it. However, I think the teaching time concept is a good one and that feature of this clock might be more useful if my child was 4 or 5 years old. Right now, she's almost 3 yrs old and it's over her head.
