Customer Review: Great Alarm Clock for Small Children

We bought this alarm clock for our 5 year-old son. We had a hard time waking him up every morning for kindergarten. After we got this alarm clock, he almost always gets up on his own after the alarm goes off. It saves us a good 10-15 minutes every morning! The nightlight on the clock is very useful too, he likes it so we don't need an additional one on the wall.
We have started teaching him time, but not pushing it. Once he starts going over it in school, I think this will be useful. Right now, he just presses the button so that the clock announces the time.
Overall, we are very pleased with the clock and would recommend it to anyone with small children.

I bought this clock for my 4 year old daughter. Right now we basically just use the feature that tells her when it is okay to wake up in the morning and she just loves it! She comes in the morning and is so excited "my clock is green!" I also like that it is a nightlight as well. Although we haven't started using any of the games yet, she has been getting better on learning her numbers. I wish the style was a bit more girly, but for what it does we will stick with it. I have already recommended this product to my girlfriends with kids the same age or older.Customer Review: Great Clock for kids!

This is the best clock! I bought it for my 3 year old who would wake up in the middle of the night and come to our room. Now when he goes to bed we look at the clock and if it is glowing yellow he knows that means it's time to be in his big boy bed. When it turns green he can come to our room. This clock has settings so that you can program it pretty much any way you like. I like that as he grows he can still use it. It has a setting for teaching time and an alarm clock with snooze function. I do think it is the best clock our there!Customer Review: Great Idea, needs a bit of work

We bought this for our five year old to help him learn to tell time on an analog clock.
The alarm works fine and the voice that tells you the time is very clear.
However, I can hardly tell the difference between regular and nightlight mode. But the green light color change indicating time to get up is a great idea.
My two biggest issues with the clock are the controls on the back are very difficult to access and use and the labels next to the tiny buttons are very difficult to read and understand as many functions require pressing two buttons together. Also, for a clock that teaches time, I am surprised there are no minute marks on the clock, only hours are shown so if its 5:57PM its very difficult for a very young person to estimate where the minute hand is exactly pointing. Its still the best time teaching device I found when I scoured the web, but it could use some improvements.

This is our second time buying this as it was such a great hit with our grandson. It acts as a night light as well as a training tool for time. Our grandson knows when it's OK to get up by the change in the light. He either stays in bed or stays in his room unit the light changes.
