Customer Review: A toy Hygrometer and not even a semi professional.

This Analog Hygrometer was a part of Frame and hygrometer set and now they sell it as an individual item. No problem so far. But Measuring humidity is other thing, this unit is of 12-14% and it show more humidity than actually is. I measured it with several digital Hygrometer and all of them within 1 to 2% were the same except for this one. You can adjust it a little bit but if it's too much out of range, then you can not even ajust it. Botton line is, if you are picky about exact measurement(or within +- 2% then this is not for you. Yes it show humidity exist but not percisely. For 8 bucks you decide.Customer Review: ACCURATE inexpensive Hygrometer

Bought it originally to test humidity differences between the basement, attic, and living floor of my house. Helped diagnose the excess humidity levels in the attic, and the lack of humidity in the living floor that caused serious static shocks.
It can help with so many other things as well. It's great for woodworking, it insures that your area is at optimum humidy levels when applying varnishes or paints. Helped tremendously when I refinished my hard wood floor. Great for guitar cases. Also comes with magnet on its backside so you can stick it anywhere.
Best $7 I ever spent! Was calibrated at only 2% difference!

I bought two of these, one for my bedroom and the other for the living room. Since I live in Wisconsin, winters are very dry and make my skin burn. So I bought these to monitor the humidity in my house.
Pros:
1. They look steam punk
2. They work great
3. They were cheap
4. Magnet back
What more could you want?

Perfect hygrometer, very cheap, accurate, beautiful design. That hygrometer come perfectly calibrated..... the error it's 0,5% in confront at my Cigar oasis and a digital termometer....and it's adjustable too....
