Description of Aprilaire 6402 Zoned Comfort Control Expansion Panel

The Aprilaire 6402 is a 2 zone expansion panel that can be used with the 6404 Zone Control Panel, allowing up to 12 zones to be controlled. (max. of 4 6402 may be used with a single 6404) The Aprilaire Zoned Comfort Control system can work with virtually all low voltage mechanical or electronic thermostats. All zone thermostats must have an "OFF" mode to prevent unintended operation. If specifying an auto changeover thermostat, precautions must be taken to prevent condenser cooling mode operation during low temperature conditions, and heating mode operation (heat pumps only) during warm temperature conditions.
