I received these for Christmas presents. They are very difficult to fill and waste a lot of water in the process. They must be refilled before completely empty or you have to dig dirt out of the fragile stem. They do add wonderful color for the plants in the window, but really are not a time saver or a water saver.Customer Review: Looks pretty but doesn't work

I followed the directions closely but have found that these do not perform as advertised. Soil does get clogged inside the globe but that seems normal and unavoidable given the design. I fill it up with water and it quickly drains out. I filled it again and the same thing happened. So, this product does water plants but not any better than you pouring the water in yourself. But I will give it good marks for its appearance. I think it looks beautiful and at this point that is the only reason I keep it on my plant.Customer Review: More useful NOW

Aqua Globes Glass Plant Watering Bulbs - 2 Pack #AG011706 are more useful NOW that I finally discovered a way to quickly fill one and remove dirt from the stem at the same time. The filler tool is so simple that I had it patented. It fills a globe under 10 seconds with no water waste. I may try to market them for under $[...] each if there is enough interest. [...]. VERY HARD TO FILL SINCE EACH GLOBE HAS A DIFFERENT DIAMETER "STEM", DIFFICULT TO KEEP DIRT OUT OF STEM, EVEN WHEN PLACING IT IN A PRE-MADE HOLE, IF YOU FOLLOW THE LIMITED DIRECTIONS THEN STEM CLOGS WITH DIRT. ALL IN ALL IF YOU ARE WILLING TO TAKE A LONG TIME FILLING, AND TAP EACH GLOBE DAILY THE PRODUCT DOES KEEP YOUR PLANTS WATERED.Customer Review: Not as wonderful...

The water globes are not as I expected. The "tube" gets clogged with dirt and no water gets out to the plant... I bought 3 sets, I have only used 2 sets
