This is a great buy. I have a 38" MTD (about 2 years old). I installed this with only a little trouble in about 3 hours. The instructions are sufficient. In a couple of places you have to reread the instructions but with a little focus you can do it. I'm not mechanically inclined but had little trouble. Every part I needed was in the box. I only have 1/2 an acre and using it with the first mow of the season filled up the twin bags 6 times with pine needles and grass. It left the yard looking fantastic. I can now get away with letting the grass get a little higher in between mows. Wish I had purchased this when I got the mower. Probably the most confusing thing about this prodoct is that it is designed to adapt to a multitude of machines of varying age. Depending on how old you mower is you may have to do some adapting. My machine was new this spring and the bagger went on with no problems. The first run was a complete sucess. I read all the reviews on this site prior to attaching the unit. Here is what my PERSONAL findings were:
1. It was the least expensive bagging unit out there. THANKS TO AMAZON.com
2. It arrived as scheduled. Took me less than a minute to walk it to my designated building area.
3. I laid out the parts as shown in the instructions booklet. Took me 3 minutes to read the booklet.
4. I laid out all the parts as shown in the booklet. Took me 1 minute to do that.
5. I Proceeded to put all the unit together. It took me no more than 5 minutes.
Total time: Lets call it 10 minutes. Even if it would have taken me 15 minutes or an HOUR, as I thought it was going to take me, IT WAS WORTH IT. G
Great quality product.
No Regrets here.

Product is exactly as described. Depending on the year of the MTD mower, it may be necessary to order extra (appx $30) parts to attach the bag assembly. The extra parts attach to the mower frame under the seat and allow the bagger assembly to clear the rear fender.
