Customer Review: Not Sure It's Worth the Money

I bought this because our dog sheds like crazy and I thought it would make life a bit easier. Here's my verdict:
1) While it does work pretty well to pick up pet hair, it's also A LOT of effort and is quite time consuming... we have carpeting throughout the house. I REALLY feel it in my arms. It's quite the workout! I also find it a bit hard for my back as I feel the need to hunch over while using it.
2) The handle is rather flimsy, it comes in 4 pieces and you have to basically (snap) it together, so I don't hold out much hope that it will last very long. If you could find a 1 piece handle that would fit, I'd highly suggest it.
I'm really not sure it's worth the money and it was much more difficult for me to use than what is shown on the infomercial. That said, I think it's best for those that only need to clean small carpeted areas. It took me about 10-15 minutes just to do a small patch in our living room. Just be sure to use the small strokes like they instruct.
I think next time, we just may get a hairless dog instead, lol!

I bought the One Sweep Broom to get cat hair out of my carpets. Unless you have tremendous upper-body strength, doing so is nearly impossible. A traditional, stiff-bristle outdoor broom does a much better job in less time. I also have no problem using a traditional mop on my tile floors, so this product was a complete waste of my money. I bought this in February and by July the rubber had started disintegrating.
I previously had a Sweepa which I had for several years; the rubber never disintegrated but the handle rusted after several years.
This product is a cheap knock off of Sweepa.

This is not my first purchase of "One Sweep" so that says it all. I Love this product. From the garage to kitchen and bath area to porch and out in the barn aisle. They are incredible. It doesn't miss a speck of sand or anything that you are sweeping up and as it shows in the infomercial it works as it says and I haven't found any of the drawbacks that others found .
