This product was exactly what I needed to remodel the bathroom. I wanted to open up the room which had been dark, given the enclosed tub. This rod allowed me to open up the line of sight so that the room seemed larger, even when the shower curtain was closed.
I was able to figure out how to install it with little problem, but I would have preferred a line or two of suggestions about the sequence of installing the various parts, including the best position on the rod for the support ring. It wasn't a big deal, but there was NO written material of any kind included in the package.
All in all, if you are looking for an "L" shaped shower rod, this one is pretty good. Acehardwareonline also got it to me efficiently and promptly.

This gets 5 stars for value. quality and looks. I looked everywhere for a moderately priced corner rod w/ the ceiling support included. I just couldn't make myself pay $150 for both. This one is a great price and is much better quality than I expected for that price. It's steel and very sturdy. The quality far exceeds the one I found in the large home improvement stores for about the same price (with no ceiling support). Unless you plan on swinging from the rod, this one should do exactly what the $100+ ones do. It should last for many, many years with normal use.Customer Review: Great for unique situation.

I am a remodeling contractor and this shower rod was ordered for a unique situation where the bathroom window was half in and half out of the shower area. My customer did not want to move window so it provided a solution to water flowing on the window every time someone took a shower. It was easy to install and good quality. Price was good too. After endless searching for this tough-to-find item, I was doubtful of the quality I'd get with this incredibly low price, but so desperate that I bought it anyway. Well, in short, it's perfect. Perhaps the manufacturer took cues from a couple of poor reviews a long time ago, but my experience is that all parts and instructions were included in the box and it was simple to install. Shipping these long items is always a dicey proposition because they tend to get banged around during transportation; while the carton arrived dented, the rod and all parts were unharmed. The rod is substantial but not overly heavy, the chrome finish is well done, and all fittings are solid, high-quality pieces.Customer Review: Happy Customer!

We had to cut the rod and ceiling rod to fit, which was not a problem.
It installed easily.
For the price, not wanting to spend it works just fine.
