Tools and Hardware Reviews of Bessey D-BKWH Quick-Change Folding Utility Knife - Wood Grain Handle

Customer Review: It's heavy
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this product because of excellent review. Here are some comments after using it for a few months.

Pros
- Heavy duty
- Perfectly sized for me (not too big nor too small)
- Universal utility blade. Can be bought from nearby stores

Cons
- It's heavy. I never used the belt clip. Pulls my pants down because of its weight. There are lighter steels that can be used.
- Does not fold completely (180 degrees). There are about 20 degree angle left open.
- Not impressed with the patented locking mechanism

Customer Review: Kia or Cadillac
Summary: 5 Stars

Knives are a little like cars, they all do the job some just do it better. This knife is a little heavier than I expected , like a Cadillac, but it is great, like a Cadillac. It is comfortable to hold and a pleasure to use. I find myself going around looking for boxes to cut up. The craftsmanship is exceptional. I really could not believe it when I read on the package "Made in China". Buy this knife, you won't be sorry.

Customer Review: Looks and Feels great...
Summary: 5 Stars

As soon as I took this bad boy to work it got raves. The wood grain is nice yet not over the top. The metal is nice and sturdy the the lock for the blade is secure. A few guys have said they feel that it is too heavy but I feel that it is safer because you are forced to control the blade more.

Great great product. I'm super happy with it!

Customer Review: My favorite knife
Summary: 5 Stars

Wow, up to #5 on the best sellers list.

I love this knife for what it is: just a knife with no gimmicks, no storage, etc. and it uses the standard replaceable utility blades (I prefer Irwin Bi-Metal BLUE BLADEs). Yet, this one is very attractive.

Opens two handed or one handed with a little more effort.

This knife has a nice heft and feels good in your hand. If you buy it as a gift chances are that you'll either get knife envy or end up keeping it for yourself.

Customer Review: Nice Utility Knife
Summary: 5 Stars

The old utility knife that I use around the house was getting worn after 9+ years of service, and this one looked pretty good. For the price, it's a solid piece of kit - I like it!
