I really like this knife. I love these folding utility knives since you never have to worry about sharpening a blade. The blade gets dull, just change it. The quick change feature seems to really work. I feel like I have a very good quality knife that looks pretty good. I am quite pleased with it.
I bought my dad and husband the Bessey DBKPH Quick-Change Folding Utility Knife - PVC Handle with 5 Blade Storage Compartment which they absolutely love. The main difference between the two is that this one is much nicer looking and is a little heavier (1 1/8 oz). The one I got my dad and husband doesn't look quite as nice, but it does have a compartment that holds 5 extra blades. Because of that, it is quite a bit bulkier. If you are considering a folding utility knife, I would definitely recommend one of these two. Just figure out what you want, and decide which one fits your needs better.

I own this knife and use it on a regular basis. I like how it functions and looks. The mechanism that holds the blade in works well and has never failed to hold the blade. It is easy enough to swap out a broken or used blade for another (sometimes I have to study it a little to remember how). Even though it only holds one blade and is slightly smaller than some others that hold multiple blades I wouldn't want to carry it around in my pocket because of its size. I wear a belt and that is where I keep mine. It is very nice to simply "end for end" the blade or put in a new one when the current one is too dull or breaks. No need to put up with a non razor-sharp blade anymore.Customer Review: Old Bessey

I've had a lot of pocket knives over the years, but this one puts the rest to shame. This knife is built like a brick s**t house. It is very well constructed and should last a long time. This truly is the only utility knife I'll ever use. After losing my first utility knife, I started shopping around and trying out different brands. Every one of them disappointed me. I had issues with everything from blades that would jiggle around in them while cutting(very aggravating when you need to make a straight cut)to just not having the right "feel" in your hand. The Bessey is a great knife. It may be a bit heavy for some people, but it is durable, and it keeps the blade in place. Personally, I like the heaviness to it. It let's me know I have a quality product unlike the other utility knives I've used. Don't expect any plastic parts to break off while using it--this thing is all metal, baby! 5 Star, A+ design and quality.
