I found this jig to be [poor quality], flimsy and inaccurate. It is hard to set up and flexes easily making accurate tapers impossible. Take my advise and spend a little more money for a good one or build one yourself. I threw it away.
Description of Big Horn 19066B Taper Jig
This aluminum jig from Big Horn allows for complete control when making angle cuts on radial-arm or table saws. The metal hinge will not break, and this model has T-slotted sides for an adjustable work stop. The graduated scale measures up to 3 inches per foot or 15 degrees of taper.
