I PURCHASED 2 "YARDGURAD ANIMAL & PEST REPELLERS" IN MAY 2008. MY HOPES WERE THAT THEY WOULD KEEP THE RACCOONS FROM EATING FROM OUR BIRDFEEDERS. THESE THINGS DO NOT PHASE THEM AT ALL !! I EVEN PLACED THE REPELLERS 2-3 FT FROM THE FEEDERS IN THE FLOWER GARDEN AND WE STILL WATCHED THE RACCOONS EAT TIL THEIR HEART'S CONTENT. MAYBE THE REPELLERS WILL WORK ON OUR DEER PROBLEM IN THE WINTER, BC THEY SURELY ARE NOT BOTHERING THE RACCOONS !
