Wow!!! It makes such a difference! We ordered this item because it is perfect for the environment as well as great because we have mostly hard floors (laminate & tile) We were tired of sticky cleaners & mops that left streaks & footprints but never really got the floor clean.
It's so easy to do & it worked wonders on our floors. I will say you should vacuum/swift very well beforehand, but we have only used the Bissell once (It just arrived yesterday). It's great that it comes with 2 pads, but they get dirty really quick, I'm sure the more we steam the less dirty the floor will be, but maybe getting more pads would be a good idea. I believe they suggest 1 pad per room, which would have made it easier. As others have stated the cord is a bit on the short side, but thats what extension cords are for. Other than that we love it! We'll probably have to replace the filter more often as we have really hard water, I do try to use the fridges filtered water. We love it's a great replacement for those old dirt collecting mops.

I originally bought the Hoover Impulse. That was a flop! Didn't even touch the dried on cookie and cheerios that my 5 and 1 year old leave on my tile floor. So I finally bit the bullet and after 3 months of reading reviews decided to buy this because of the price. Received it and didn't even need directions to get it up and running, took me all of 5 minutes. The steam was ready within a minute. The pads are easy to put on and off. It did wonderful! Took everything off the floor and even in the grout! I learned for the hard stuff in the grout, lift the machine like an inch away from the floor and steam it for about 5-10 seconds then go over it like normal. I LOVE THIS MACHINE! Like most everyone I wish it held itself upright but it is easy to stand in a corner. The cord could be a bit longer but works just fine for me. Does leave a good bit of water on the floor but really no more than a regular mop. I even did the white sock test on the remaining water on the floor and IT PASSED! If you have been like me and reading countless reviews, debating how much you should spend, or wondering what will work best on your floors, just bite the bullet like I did and order this machine. You won't be disappointed! I have had it for 2 days now and I have steamed my floors each day! That is how easy and fun it is!Customer Review: Amazing

I've been using this for months and have no complaints. It works almost like magic and it's a great feeling to walk barefoot on a chemical-free floor. My only concern is the cost of the new filters. I think our filter is just about done for and it's going to get costly to replace that every 3 months. Using purified water in it would add up too. I recommend buying an additional 2-pack of mop pads because these get drenched.Customer Review: Amazing Product

We have several hundred square feet of laminate and tile flooring. This steam mop just made life easier.It lifts and holds the dirt in the micro fiber pad without the back breaking work that goes with cleaning this type of flooring. I am extremely satisfied with my new Bissell 1867-7, Green Tea, steam mop. I have very wide, light-colored grout lines in my large kitchen/eat-in dining area and two bathrooms. It has previously taken me hours, literally, on my hands and knees to get good results. This mop works miracles. I held the steam mop over stained areas on my grout lines and achieved noticible results. Although this created more water, I just used a regular squeeze mop, as a sponge/towel, to go over the floors when I was done with the steam mop, resulting in very quick drying time. The Bissell steam mop reduced the time it took to clean this very large area to about 30 minutes as opposed to the 2 hours it used to take. No rinsing, no countless trips to and from the sink, no using a bucket, no chemicals, no clorox-damaged skin. My kitchen floor not only looked awesome, but it felt squeeky clean as well.
