Tools and Hardware Reviews of Bissell Steam Mop Hard-Floor Cleaner, Green Tea, 1867-7Customer Review: Awesome mop!!! SO great for tile and wood floors! Summary: 5 Stars
I am in love! First let me say, I hate mopping. HATE mopping. Avoid it. Alas, with a 3 year old and an 8 month old and beautiful wood floors in my dining room, mop I must. Baby cereal dries to concrete on anything and the scrubbing involved to get it off almost made me get a dog to eat it as fast as it fell (flew!) I saw the commercial for this and the wood floors and the baby that could eat off them and thought it couldn't hurt to try. I love it! I just did my kitchen and dining room in about 10 minutes, their spotless, (including under the highchair- true war zone), I'm not exhausted nor putting away 7 different products, and there are no chemicals to worry about for the baby! Does it dry as fast as it says? I'd say no, you definitely have to give it about 10-15 minutes, though I suppose it would dry faster if I used less water? I keep the steam going the whole time (there's a trigger so you can measure how much you use.) If I was in a hurry, I suppose I could use less steam and it would dry faster- maybe for a nearly clean floor already. I've used it twice now (wanted to really check it out before reviewing) and I highly recommend it. Especially for anyone with kiddos on the floor (or pets I would think.) SO nice not to worry about chemical residue. OH- and you can use it to sanitize too! Love it, love it, love it! I wonder if this would work on my tub...
Customer Review: Awesome on floors! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this almost a year ago and has worked great ever since. Its quick and easy and no time at all to do floors. Clean up is throwing the pad in the washer thats it! A real time saver and beats doing floors on your hands and knees.

After reading the reviews I decided to give this a try. I have all porcelain tile floors which were really hard to clean with a bad back. This Steam Mop worked great. Easy to use did a great job in almost no time. I wash the pads and let them air dry they go back on the mop easily and you are ready to go. If you are undecided about trying a steam mop give this one a try you won't be sorry.
Customer Review: BEST TIMESAVER Summary: 5 Stars
I had heard good comments from people who had steam mops and thought I'd jump in the water. I have a large kitchen and dining room done in off white laminate that looks like ceremac tile. This has been a chore to clean since everything shows and needs to be done often. With a regular sponge mop it is always steaky and usually had to get down on hands and knees to wipe dry to avoid this. The Bissell steam mop got good reviews so I decided to go with this one. What a difference. I can do the floors in half the time with virtually no streaking. Sure, it doesn't leave the floors perfectly dry but what little water that remains dries in a few minutes. I am very pleased with this item and would definately recommend to anyone looking for a steam mop.
Customer Review: BEST mop ever! Summary: 5 Stars
Okay, I wasn't really for buying something that would require electricity to mop my floors. I am a complete believer in good ol' elbow grease. However, good ol' elbow grease wasn't make the grout in my tile floors look very good at all, so I decided to try out this super mop after reading other reviews.
It has certainly lived up to its reputation! It is easy to assemble and easy to turn on (and I am often challenged to putting things together!). With 2 cats, 2 dogs and toddler it was difficult to keep my hardwood and tile floors clean, but not with this mop. I can do all my floors in about 15 minutes and they are absolutely spotless when I am done. And as a Mom, I LOVE that I am not using any harsh, fumy chemicals and that my floors are actually sanitized. It is a dream mop!
