This is the second set I have purchased.The batteries lose their staying power after a few years but the convenience of not having to lug around a heavy gas powered weed-wacker or a line voltage hedge trimmer with extension cord has been well worth the investment.I would recommend this to anyone whose property is not measured in acreage.Customer Review: 5 stars with some warnings

Got sick and tired of maintenance of my gas and corded lawn equipment, so I got rid of it and went electric (and cordless!)
Price ($165) here is incredible based on what other places sell this kit for, so for the price I paid, 5 star easily.
Pros:
- so easy to start and use
- 3 included batts (and a charger than can charge all 3 at once!) ensures you have plenty of juice for small to medium yards
-lightweight tools, easy to maneuver
-cost
Cons:
- cheap plasticky feel (I guess to keep them lightweight, everything's a tradeoff)
- this is NOT for anything other than LIGHT yard work. If you live in an overgrown jungle, do not get this kit.
- I wish the string trimmer had dual strings coming out, not one, and the reach was a little longer
I have just started using these, so no thoughts on reliability, but I have used all three tools. Was most impressed by the hedge trimmer I think. They took on a huge 6 ft. out of control loropetalum I have w/o any problem at all. Wow...impressed with the power there.
String trimmer is kind of weak, but I expected that...I mean it IS running on a BATTERY for pete's sake! I did wish it had SLIGHTLY more reach as well, as I had to get really close to some of the walls that my grass grows next to.
Blower is best thought of as a carport/deck/garage blower and nothing more than that. It did great in my small carport and deck, but I would never try to use it for actual leaves (I would never blow my leaves anyway, rakes are faster imo).
Anyway, a reserved 5 star...if we had half stars, I would give it a 4.5 for a great little kit at a fantastic price.
Completely dependent on what kind and size of yard you have though.

I've never written an Amazon review before, but I thought I should since all the prior reviews helped me decide to purchase this product.
Bottom line, for the money, I can't think of a better performing system. The cordless trimmer by itself is about $100. For only $140 more, you get the trimmer, the hedger, the blower, a wall mount system, and a three-battery charging station!
As for performance, I would say if you had a moderately sized lawn, this system should work fine. I was able to edge and blow my lawn with only two batteries, I did not even need the third one. If I end up doing my bushes, I suspect I would need the third one.
The edger had no problem cutting through my grass. Some folks mentioned that for your initial edging, this one may not work ... but I had no problem. The blower has much more power then I thought it would. It had no problem moving around whatever I needed. I even used it to blow out my garage!
I can whole-heartedly recommend this system. At the very least, give it a test run ... you can always return it if you're not completely satisfied.
