Oh how I wish I could say this one was as great as the one it replaced (wore that sucker out). I have two small children so this is a necessity many times a day. It does pick up, but that's about the only positive.
It shoots air up and back, and the air is from what it just picked up - watch your eyes. You must go forward so you do not blow what you are trying to pick up all over (does this make sense?). It seems there is no perfect angle (maybe if my arms were longer?!) that it does not hit you in the face. Wish I knew this when I used it for the first time on a broken lightbulb...shards of glass right in my face. And I do not recommend using this for wet spills unless you plan on washing it out afterwards - did not think about this when I happily cleaned up spilled cheerios and milk...two days later...blech.
All of this aside, as long as I know how and what to use this for, it's useable - but not that great. Battery life is laughable.

I thought that I would never need a vaccuum in college, but, as it turns out, I've needed this vaccuum at least once every week. For every spill, for every insect infestation, for every time I had to clean up for company, this has been my savior. You just plug it in and it'll charge until you need to use it. Unplug, and then you can scoop up pretty much anything.
Cons: The suction is not terribly strong, so you really have to get close to the floor/whatever to clean it. Also, definitely does not work on futon lint. However, will suck up fruit fly larvae with ease. Another thing, that may or may not matter to most people, is that since you have to get close to the floor, the translucent plastic cover of the vaccuum gets pretty ugly scratches. But it comes with attachments, so in general this is not really a problem.
Get this. Or, if not this, any other wet/dry cordless vaccuum. Absolutely indispensible.

It was more than I expected. I got my money's worth out of it right away. The only thing that I don't like is the battery life is not that long. Other than that, a great buy.
