The Black & Decker Cordless mower is incredible. The motor is powerful and the battery has plenty of staying power for a smaller lawn. It takes me about 30 minutes to cut my grass and I haven't notice any slow down in the mower. I suspect the advertised 1/3 of an acre is pretty accurate. The wheel adjustment is really nice. There a squeeze type lever on the right rear side of the mower that adjusts all four wheels at the same time. Charging is easy. B & D actually recommends leaving the mower on the charger when not using, guess that's so you don't forget to charge the mower. The only negative I would have is this mower is a bit heavy. I wouldn't recommend it if you have to cut up and down any hills and aren't in decent shape.Customer Review: B & D Cordless Mower

This mower was easy to assemble. Just flip the handle and tighten the screws. It has more than enough stored energy for my lawn and cuts very well. No more gas. No more cords. Height adjustment is a snap. Only drawback is having to push vs. self propelled.Customer Review: B&D 24 V cordless mower

I bought this to replace the CMM1000. I had it for close to 12 years and use it from sometimes February to December where I use it to pick-up or grind-up leaves. When new, the mower may mow my entire lawn in the spring, but after the battery gets older, I need two days to mow it. This is OK since I wear out. This one advertises a full charge in 9 hours. If true, it is better than the close to 24 hours in the old model. My old one had two new batteries, new wheels, new side handles, and the motor re-packed once. It was time for battery, repacked motor, and wheels again. I have to drive 40 miles to the Black and Decker store to drop it off and pick it up again and take time from work to do this. (Store is open M-F, 7-5 PM)
I've used the new one only a few times and not to fully drained power. I miss the power gauge the old one had. If this one runs like the other, I am satisfied: no oil, no gas, no winterizing, no tune up every year.
I looked at other models and this seemed to have less problems.

This is my second B&D electric mower and it performs very will for an electric mower. The first mower lasted five years. It has plenty of mulching power as long as the grass is kept cut per their recommendations. My only complaint is the single handed actuation method; it is almost impossible to use anything but your right hand on the actuation lever. I've gotten used to it, but it's not nearly as convenient as the older model that had a lever going all the way across the handle.Customer Review: B&D 24V Cordless Mower

I purchased this mower when my gas mower broke down. I am very pleased with its performance. I am able to mow my entire lawn twice without a recharge.
When I received the mower I literally took it out of the box, attached the handle in 2 minutes & proceeded to mow my lawn. Adjusting the height of the mower is a simple 1 step process.
No more pouring gas, checking oil or tuneups!
