I love the convenience of this cordless electric broom, but not happy that the battery doesn't last longer. Mine only worked for about three years before the battery quit charging. and then I had to buy a new broom. But I use it a lot and missed it when it stopped working, so I bought another one. This unit was very easy to set up. Basically, you slide on the nozzle. Then you attach the unit to the charging base. And you plug the charger into the wall. That's it for setup!
Using the unit is also very easy. There is a single switch on top that you flip and away you go. Since the unit is completely battery operated, there are no cords or gasoline issues to worry about. The whole tool is idiot-proof.
However, with the battery on a full charge, you only have about 15 minutes of full power. After that time, the unit looses charge quickly until it only puts out a small puff of air. By then you're waving the thing around so much you might as well get a broom to do some actual work.
I give this item 5 stars for ease of use, but only 1 star for doing what it's actually intended for, which is blowing. Considering I don't normally buy blowers for any other use, I give it 2 stars overall.

Very happy with this blower, I use it regularly. Don't expect to blow leaves off of grass easily, it is more for clearing debris from pavement. It does it quick and easy with no cords, and slightly quieter than an electric blower, and much quieter than a gas blower. The lead-acid battery (a 12v home burglar alarm battery) has lasted 3 years+ for me, and you can change it out for a new one easily, with removing a few screws and some push on connectors, I bought my battery for about $20.
