This is a great iron, especially compared to the one it replaced that burned everything. It is easy to turn on, heats quickly, produces lots of steam if that's what you set it for, and irons beautifully without scorching. The little window even tells you when it's time to clean it, although it says that once a week, which is more often than I was aware was necessary. The temperature control stays where it is put - my previous iron had a control that moved as you ironed and got hotter and hotter.Customer Review: A n Excellent Iron

This iron works so well! It produces large amounts of steam and you can adjust the level of steam you want. It has digital numbers which are easily read to set the heat level and fabric type. The reservoir for water holds a good amount of water which is necessary for the amount of steam it produces. I love ironing with this iron and it is the best iron I have ever used. I always thought ironing is just a real pain of a chore that takes a lot of time and effort until one day I got to use one of this at a hotel and realized that having a good iron makes a BIG difference! Before a regular long sleeves men's shirt would normally take me at least 10 min and with use of lots of strach spray to rid of wrinkles but now i get them done so quickly and i dont even need a starch spray! The steam from the iron is all you need to rid of wrinkles and my husband shirt's never looked better! This indeed is a real time and energy saver, wished I would have bought this sooner!Customer Review: A really good iron

It's been fifteen years since I bought a new iron, and things have really improved. I thought I would hate the automatic off feature, since I sew and leave it on for long periods of time when I'm not actually using it. But it heats up quickly and has a neat "ping" that lets me know when it reaches temperature. So if it does shut off, I don't have long to wait.
It has a good long cord, a clear digital display that is easy to set, and makes oodles of steam. I would certainly buy it again.

This iron heats quickly, steams beautifully, and the digital features are flawless. However, the water needs to be refilled after ironing only a few items. It also does not slide as fluidly as other irons. The stainless steel is not as slick on fabric as the non-sticks are. It is well worth the money though. I checked out all the irons through consumer reports, and the 2020 version rates the highest. They had not reviewed this (2030), but I assume it can only be better.
