I cannot believe how well this hedge trimmer works. We had a Black&Decker hedge trimmer that lasted over 20 years. It finally gave out,then I purchased this one after reading all the reviews. Also my husband only lets me buy whatever is rated well on Consumer Reports. I am the one that does the trimming. I used it within minutes of the UPS guy delivering it. I could not believe how fast I was done. With the old 13 inch trimmer, it took meat least an hour and my back started to hurt. With this one it took about 15 minutes and I could not believe I was done. It was so fast, I had to watch that I did not cut too much because it was so easy.
I don't understand the problem people are having with the clip that keeps it on, you just have to pay attention and it works fine. I am a woman of 55 and I just love it. I am not easily impressed, but this one I am happy I bought.
