My mom bought this vac for me for my Bridal shower.
She picked it up in Target with my sister after having a laugh when they saw the vac was called "the retriever"
My husband and I have a 90 lb blond Golden who sheds like crazy. After one or two rounds vaccuming my couch and stairs the retreiver attachment became entangled with his fur. I had to break apart the attachment I could not get the bristles clean. I HATE that vac. Now I use my swiffer vac on my hard wood. A lint roller on my couch, and TV's One Sweep (sweepa) to rake the dog hair out of my area rug. UGH! Thanks "Retriever" you stink

Great suction! Easy to use, long cord, and big enough space to use repeatedly without having to dispose the filter too often for someone who hates doing really disgusting things like that. In fact, I've had it for over a month and still have not emptied out the vacuum. I like the vacuum cleaner-it was a good deal.Customer Review: I love this thing

I live in a very small apartment with a couple of rugs that I couldn't get my hair out of... While I don't have any pets, I am a bit of a shedder, and I needed something that would get hair out of my rugs, and this thing worked amazingly well. The power in this tiny light thing is out of control. True, a dustbuster is neither the most efficient nor the most comfortable way to vacuum an apartment, but for $30, a little discomfort is as small sacrifice for how well this works and how easy it is to store. Biggest complaint -- and I'm not sure that this is avoidable -- but some hair got stuck very very wrapped around the roller... I cut it off with scissors, which worked very well, but not having to do that would be preferable.Customer Review: Impressed

I needed to replace my cordless B&D dustbuster that I had for about 3 years-so didn't last too long. I have a black lab and when I saw the reviews for this B&D pet series dustbuster, I decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did, this is really an amazinlgy powerful dustbuster, easy to use and really does work getting up the pet hair. The cord is a good length, so anyone with stairs this would be ideal too.
