This Power Driver is no good for PC technician - or as screwdriver at all. The problem is that it always works on maximum speed, you can't regulate the speed so you don't have control over screwdriver!
You can use this only as a drill for wood or other soft materials.

I purchased this product at Lowe's because I needed it quickly. I found it to be light, true, however, the power of the motor is poor. I could not use it to screw a nail into a wall - my main reason to purchase this. It is ONLY a screwdriver, nothing more. And, if you want any additional heads, these are costly and a bother to find. I would not recommend this item to anyone. Black and Decker has started to fail in all of their tools, and this is proof of their failures. If you're like me, you've had normal screwdrivers around forever but never quite bothered going after an electric screwdriver. It's one of those things you put up with for ages, but when you change your mind and get one you'll be amazed how much easier and pleasureable it is to use. "Why didn't I get one of these sooner?" And you can't beat the awesome discount Amazon has on this!
A multi-attachment screwdriver like this one is the way to go. The included hardware makes it very simple and quick to change the size or type of bit you are using. This compact device replaces a whole drawer of nasty old regular screwdrivers. Even an amateur can complete simple projects with ease using this item.
Another plus is the compact size - this particular screwdriver is small enough that you can get into awkward areas (behind a TV cabinet for example) and still use it. I'd recommend this all the way. What used to take several frustrating minutes to do by hand now becomes a simple task completed in seconds.
I would have given the Black & Decker ISD600QVC Power Driver 6-Volt Impact Screwdriver 5 stars instead of 4, but there was just one small failing of the device, which I didn't even consider until a particular incident.
While replacing some wood panels one afternoon out in my shop, I noticed an strange glow coming from the edges of the carpet. In a panic, I tore back the carpeting to reveal a trap door which had been constructed prior to my ownership of the property. Years ago I'd sealed it shut with a solid wood block and some lengthy wood screws, after discovering it was a gateway to a nefarious fire dimension, in habited by ill tempered spectres and ghosts. I didn't want THEM in my shop. Hah!
A screw had come loose! Well not to worry, the trusty Black & Decker ISD600QVC Power Driver 6-Volt Impact Screwdriver would save the day. But to my horror, it had run out of battery power! I loved it so much I'd forgotten to charge it back up. As the trap-door rattled, and ghosty fingers made from energy sought to slip past the edges, I grabbed a rusted old standard screwdriver and re-tightened the screws.
Whew! Disaster averted, but without that regular screwdriver around I might have been in trouble.
(Note: Later I realized even without electricity the Black & Decker ISD600QVC Power Driver 6-Volt Impact Screwdriver can still be used to manually tighten a screw, but in a moment of panic even a wily consumer like me can forget! It is a mighty instrument but be cautious.)
