I bought this item to clear the leaves that blow from other people's trees up against my street curb. Worked well, easy to put together, easy to handle. Bag is sort of heavy, but I will investigate the attachment that I understand from others' reviews will blow directly into a bin.
I'm an avid composter, and my greatest discovery was that I could toss eggshells and coffee filters and reasonably tender kitchen peelings onto a batch of leaves and suck the whole batch up and it pulverized everything, which I could then dump into my compost bin. Cool! It's parked by my back door to deal with this winter's kitchen gleanings.

The machine works extremely well both for blowing and for vacuuming leaves. However, after two hours work and about 15 bags filled, the collection bag began to disintegrate. Hence and with regret, I returned the machine. It needs a stronger bag.Customer Review: Does what it was hired to do!

Bought this leaf blower to replace a B&D that went up in smoke the second time it was used. I was a bit apprehensive in my decision to buy another B&D, but it was on sale and with the warranty I felt comfortable. Boy did I do the right thing! This thing really blows the leaves and vacuums them up really well. It even destroys small twigs in the process. I recommend this product to those who want a blower / vac that is powerful and appears to be designed well.Customer Review: Economical solution

This is the third leaf vacuum I have purchased and it is by far the best. I use it primarily as a leaf vacuum vice blower and it has outstanding suction. The metal mulching blades really are good and a great improvement over the plastic type. Well worth the money. I highly recommend it.
