Tool was a little awkward to use at first, but easier with more use. The only draw back I have is it has a tendency to get pinched when cutting a larger branch from the side. Because you can not always have the handles above the branch. Great for small stuff.Customer Review: Alligator Lopper

This is the best new tool I've encountered in years. It is quiet, lightweight, and frighteningly efficient. I'd like to do a one-on-one with the Texas Chainsaw massacrer with this tool! I can go though a pile of
slash and reduce it to firewood chunks in one quarter the time it used to take me. The best thing about it is that it grips what you are cutting, so you don't need to stop and place each piece on a sawhorse. Also, it appears to be much safer than using a conventional chainsaw. After using mine, I bought two more to give to friends.

This is a great tool for cleaning up branches up to 4". It is easy to use and better than a chain saw for small jobs.
