I recently purchased this blower/vac, and just used it for the first time. It has changed my life. No more spending hours bent over piles of leaves raking them into large trash bags. This thing just vacuums them right up, mulches the leaves into smaller bits, and collects them in a bag for me. All I have to do is empty this small bag into the larger one. The blower function is great too; it's very powerful. It's so powerful, I'm sure it'll take some time to learn to control the leaves better than I am doing so far. Fortunately, the B&D blower vac has a low and high speed, so you can pick the speed that works best for you.
Having said all this, there are a couple of things I think need improvement. First of all, the clips that are used to attach the shoulder strap to the blower vac are cheap. I could see having to buy new ones soon. Also, I am a little concerned about the bag; it seems a little cheap and I'm not sure how long it will last. But if it breaks, I'll just have to buy a new bag assembly kit - I can't live without this anymore. What took me 3 hours to do previously, I can do in 1/2 an hour. Trust me, if you have been behind the times like I was, without a blower vac, move into the 21st century, and bring this with you. You'll be happy you did. It's almost perfect.
