Customer Review: Better than a gas mower

I used this mower for an entire season and it is as good (if not better) than my old gas powered one. It took on my overgrown yard like a champ, when a gas powered would normally choke.
Pros:
1. Very light. I can easily lift it and pull it up a hill with one arm.
2. Quieter than gas-powered mowers.
3. No oil, gas, or priming. The only maintenance is wiping the blades off occasionally.
4. Doesn't exhaust fumes like a gas mower.
5. It looks like a giant Fischer-Price toy, but this thing can really cut your yard very well. My yard was so overgrown when I got this thing, and it never once choked and shut down like gas mowers sometimes do. Plus, it mulches very well--no huge piles of grass to rake up.
Cons:
1. The cord. A minor nuisance that you quickly get used to. This really isn't a problem unless you have a lot of trees or statues or rocks in your yard.

For its price this product can't be beat... I ordered the Lawn Hog which arrived within two days. It was easy to put together... although there is a small plastic tab which was a little skimpy and broke in assembly... I still haven't figured out its purpose... so I don't think I'm missing much... with the exception of the two little tabs it seems sturdy enough for my 30x50 yard... a cord organizer helps with the 100ft cord... It cuts grass just as well as a gas mower and is easier to handle, makes less mess and was less expensive...
I had been eyeing this mower but then was given a used gas mower. the gas mower was heavy and awkward to move around and a mess... long story short I woke up to the smell of gas all over the house when the mower leaked... I'm happy with the purchase.

I received my electric lawn mower within several days of purchase; the mower was new and the box never opened, and I am thrilled with it. The mower is light, easily maneuvered, quiet compared to a gas mower, no fumes to bother me or the environment, and it does a great job of cutting and mulching.
